The Lemonaid Foundation

If you really want to be inspired, check out Dr. Nancy Peddle who started the LemonAid Fund, an independent, not-for-profit project dedicated to aiding the children of Serra Leone and teaching them the value of giving back. This amazing organization supports people who believe in their own abilities to create positive change, despite any hardship or injustice they may experience… people who take action on their own behalf, to turn the “lemons” in their lives, into “lemonade."

The ultimate aim of LemonAid is to be part of a global campaign to "heal this broken world" now divided by poverty, privilege and power. Great stuff, check them out!

Valley of the Kings

Dedicated to the rescue and refuge of abused, abandoned, injured and retired exotic animals, Wade has hosted a few charity events for this worthy organizatio. VOTK is true grass roots charity just squeaking by to make ends meet, committing so much of their heart and energy to the care of these beautiful abandoned animals. A great place to visit on a road trip, the'e located in Southern Wisconsin, check them out!

Yoga Gardens

An amazing student / soul, Indigo Monae, has become a leader and teacher in her own right and decided to make positive change in a community, where she saw a desperate need to elevate the lives of children within inner city Chicago. This Chicago based non-profit organization is passionate and dedicated to planting peace and aiding inner city communities through free yoga classes and organic gardening!

I'll never forget my first yoga class with Wade in 2009, which was the beginning of my adventure influenced by, not only a practitioner of yoga but a real yogi! Just seeing how much heart and love he gave in classes made it easy to love such a beautiful person. That's why, as a yogi, I needed to find my way of giving back, to show my heart and gratitude to this practice. With all of the unfortunate things happening in the city of Chicago--the violence, schools closing and art, science and gym
classes being cut, I had to do something. So that is how the birth of Yoga Gardens N.F.P came to be.
