Join Chicago-based yoga instructors Jenny Guzon-Bae and Wade Gotwals in the beautiful and life-affirming setting of Mar de Jade in Chacala, Mexico.
(90 min. north of popular tourist destination Puerto Vallarta) The best way to reach Chacala is to fly to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, which has non-stop and connection flights from all major US Cities. Mar de Jade can arrange transportation from/to the airport.
This week-long retreat is designed to meet yourSelf as you are by revitalizing your body and nourishing your mind and soul with two-daily yoga practices amidst the sun, sand and pristine beauty of Mar de Jade.
The heart of the retreat is centered around playful and healing practices that include asana, meditation, mantra, sound healing, and cultivating connections with yourself. Be nurtured by soothing water, nourishing organic food, soothing spa treatments and the pleasure and camaraderie of like-minded souls.
There will be optional trips to see whales, explore the jungle, surf, stand-up paddle board, and shop in local markets. Cultural activities include an AltaVista excursion to view pre-Hispanic petroglyphs, visit nearby towns like Sayulita, and volunteering at the local school.
